  • Once marching ensemble is over, percussionists have the opportunity to participate in our Winter Percussion program. This is critical for the ongoing training as well as more incredible performance opportunities for just percussion. During the Winter Percussion season, members continue to build skill sets while they also learn a 4-6 minute show that is performed at various local competitions. We also have a percussion ensemble designed for middle school students in our feeder area.

  • Every year Southridge produces a school-wide musical for our main stage.  This is a cooperative effort between the drama, choir, and band departments.  For our part, we put together a top-notch pit orchestra composed of woodwinds, brass, strings, percussion, piano, and synth.  Students can earn over 100 hours of service learning.   • This band performs at all men and women’s home basketball games through the season while traveling to post-season venues such as McArthur Court in Eugene and the Chiles Center in Portland. A rich mix of modern and classic rock, jazz, funk, and hip-hop are played throughout the game.

  • The Marching Ensemble is among the best programs offered at Southridge High School. Students participate in a custom-designed show that incorporates music and dance in an exciting performance and present this at football games and five local and regional competitions.
