Southridge High School in Beaverton, Oregon, has won many top honors in its short history. In 2009, our marching band was, for the third consecutive year, the undefeated NWAPA Open Class Champion.
Other successes from 2009 include:
- Winter Guard: NWAPA Open Class Champion
- Winter Guard: NWAPA Scholastic AA Class Champion
- Winter Percussion: NWAPA Open Class Champion
- Wind Ensemble: 6A State Champion
- Wind Ensemble: Metro League Champion

SIMDE (Southridge Instrumental Music and Dance Ensembles), Inc. is the parent booster organization that supports and raises money for all programs under its umbrella. All parents are automatically members of SIMDE while their students are active members of the Southridge program. SIMDE is a tax qualified, not-for-profit, 501(c)3 corporation.

Football Games on Calendar
Home football games have been added to the calendar: September 10, 17, October 8, 15, and November 5.
Scrip Dates Published Scrip dates are easy to remember this year: "Friday". Yes, starting September 10th, you can drop off your scrip orders on any Friday, and pick them up on the next Friday. Weekly drop off is an experiment, so check the calendar and the news page just to make sure before you drop your order off. If you have questions, contact:

Band Day
Band Day: Taking Music to the Streets On September 18th from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. we are taking our program to the streets of Beaverton asking the public for their support. We need students and parents to help with this large fundraiser. There will be a parent meeting Thursday, August 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the band room.
